DonutMediaCenter 2.1.0
The first release under the DonutMediaCenter name, formerly LocalBooru. Existing libraries, application IDs and saved pairings remain compatible.
Included
- Dedicated Images, Videos and Music views, with media-specific directories, filters and collections.
- Donut Create: an optional ComfyUI/DonutNodes v5 add-on with simple controls, an advanced workflow editor, editing, history and library output.
- Android local image, video and music libraries, thumbnails, offline playback and media permissions.
- Paired remote libraries, LAN/Tailscale address fallback discovery, streaming quality choices and playback-control improvements.
- DMC desktop/mobile icons and executable naming, plus managed add-on path and Python discovery improvements.
Downloads and platform notes
- Linux x86-64: AppImage, DEB, RPM and portable ZIP. Requires glibc 2.39 or newer. Native-runtime sources are included separately.
- Windows x86-64: installer and portable ZIP. Packages are unsigned; SmartScreen may warn.
- macOS universal preview: Apple Silicon + Intel DMG/ZIP. Ad-hoc signed, without Apple notarization; first launch may require a Gatekeeper override. Shipping-package hardware acceptance remains incomplete.
- Android experimental: permanently signed universal APK and AAB, targeting SDK 36 with four ABIs and verified 16 KB package alignment. The startup fix has not completed cold-start acceptance; earlier cold runs showed delayed or blank startup. The AAB is provided for distribution preparation; it has not been submitted to Google Play.
Build/package checks and recorded checksums passed. Additional shipping-package runtime acceptance remains pending; preview and experimental platform status is described above.
