0.4.0
Highlights
- Added Expo Router integration through
react-native-screen-choreography/expo-router, includinguseChoreographyRouter,ChoreographyScreen, and interactive back transitions. - Added the navigator-independent
react-native-screen-choreography/coreentry point and isolated navigation dependencies in their adapters. - Added reusable transition recipes:
makeSurfaceTransition, makeStretchTransition, andtextMorphTransition. - Hardened navigation session ownership, cancellation, rapid interruptions, reverse transitions, and interactive progress handling.
Breaking Changes and Migration
- Removed
StandInCrossfade. Use a transition recipe where appropriate or provide a custom transition renderer for crossfading different content. - Removed
sourceContent, targetContent, andfadeRangefromStandInElement. Pass a single subtree throughchildren; the primitive resizes and positions it without scaling or crossfading its content. StandInContainerdefaults to a transparent background and zero corner radius. Supply explicit styles or usemakeSurfaceTransitionfallbacks when a visible surface is required.
The existing package-root integration remains available for React Navigation. Expo Router applications should import their integration from /expo-router; shared navigator-independent code can import from /core.
