Interactive Packed Circles Chart for Jira is an app that turns your backlog into hierarchical packed circles chart you can interact with:

Select one of your starred filters and the results it returns will be organized as a chart
Pick how you want to group the work items: by Parent, Assignee, or Sprint
The size of each circle is based on its estimated effort, as well as its children's estimated effort
Unestimated work is shown separately in an outer circle of the top level parent
