DotCraft v0.6.3

DotCraft v0.6.3 turns Remote Tool Host into a complete Desktop workflow with the new Satellite tray app, adds GPT-6 Astra support, and improves session persistence and recovery.

Highlights

  • DotCraft Satellite — Share one folder on another Windows PC without requiring its owner to use the command line. The per-user tray app installs without administrator rights, asks the owner to approve the exact folder, shows who is connected and what is running, and lets them pause, disconnect, or revoke access at any time. The model loop, approvals, and conversation history remain on the Agent machine.

  • Invite, Connect, and Run on Another PC from Desktop — The new Settings → Connections → Satellites flow creates single-use invitation links, shows paired machines and their shared folders, and surfaces recent activity. Choose Run on below the composer to send the conversation's eligible file, Shell, and language tools to an available Satellite, then switch back to This PC whenever needed.

  • GPT-6 Astra Support — The ChatGPT subscription model catalog now includes gpt-6-astra as the default model, with low through ultra reasoning levels and an 872K-token context window.

Additional Improvements

  • Faster Session Persistence — Rollout JSONL reading and writing now operates directly on UTF-8 data, reducing overhead when loading and replaying large thread histories while preserving canonical ordering and damaged-tail recovery.

  • Reliable Interrupted-Turn Recovery — When DotCraft restarts, turns interrupted while running, waiting for approval, or waiting for input are finalized as cancelled exactly once. Threads can then resume cleanly without retaining stale running state.

  • More Flexible Provider Startup — Workspaces can open before a model provider is configured. Provider and model resolution is deferred until an agent actually runs, and providers added after startup can be used without restarting DotCraft.

  • Desktop Polish — A slimmer update dialog and consistent status indicators across settings make connection state easier to scan. Satellite presence now follows live Hub events for more accurate status reporting.
