Features

Musical-Key Hints

  • If the audio file contains the key of a song (C maj, D# min, etc), notes that are not in the pitch of that key have an orange colored border
  • By clicking the new toolbar button with the "♯♭" icon, you can also set the key of the song manually. Currently there is no key detection, so you will have to google the key yourself. By selecting a key and clicking "Ok", the key will be saved in the audio file as tag
  • DISCLAIMER: Songs may have key changes, or notes, that are not in pitch with the key of the song. Just because a note is highlighted, DOES NOT mean, the pitch is wrong. It is just a hint!

Hyphenation Dictionary Improvements

  • When selecting a word that consists of multiple notes in the editor, pressing CTRLSHIFTH will add this word to the hyphenation dictionary
  • When adding new words in the hyphenation dictionary, you can also type the Pipe-character | to add a separator (instead using the separator button

New Keyboard Shortcuts

CTRLALTUP / DOWN Increase or decrease the pitch of a selected note by a half-tone AND plays it back
CTRLSHIFTALTUP / DOWN Increase or decrease the pitch of a selected note by an octave AND plays it back
~Adds or removes the Tilde character at the beginning of a note

USDB Syncer Tags

  • Added support for #TAGS
  • Syncer-Tags can now be saved directly. If the dialog is reopened and USDB Syncer tags are detected in the #VIDEO tag and a video in the #COMMENT tag, the video can be restored as well

Bugfixes

  • Issue #28: When deactivating the "Play" buttons next to red cursor line while editing a song, depending of the location of the preceeding or following note (if they were really close together and positioned higher or deeper than the current note), the now hidden play buttons would prevent mouse interaction with the previously covered note. Thanks to @weimarer76 for both pointing it out and fixing this
  • When using the mouse to split a long note, that also had more than two syllables, the split point was overridden by the manual (hitting the "-" key) splitting algorithm
