Dowy Client 0.7.9 - download DowyClient-Setup.exe and run it. Already installed? The launcher updates itself (Update & restart).

More Java fixes for PCs where Java won't install or start

  • New last step: if Java still can't be installed, Dowy installs it with the official Java installer (Eclipse Temurin, into Program Files). Windows asks you to allow it - press Yes. Antivirus that blocks Java in AppData usually trusts this one.
  • Every downloaded file is checked again after it's saved. If antivirus removes or changes Java's files, the message now says so clearly and tells you which folder to add to the antivirus exclusions.
