What's fixed
Transcription no longer dead-ends on tricky files (#39)
Some files — MXF/AVC and certain mp4s — could crash the fast engine and, on a fresh install, leave you stuck on a cryptic "No transcription engine found / pip install" message with no way forward. Now you get a one-click Install transcription engine button right on the transcribe screen. Install it once (~2 GB, one time) and those files quietly fall back to Whisper from then on. The installer wording is clearer for English audio too.
AI Analysis no longer comes back empty on German / long interviews
On longer or non-English (German) interviews the model's reply could get cut off, and the app was throwing away the entire result — leaving you with "Analysis produced no results." It now keeps everything that completed, has roughly double the room to answer so it rarely gets cut off in the first place, and shows an honest message if something does go wrong. "Try again" actually helps now.
The Whisper installer can't look frozen anymore
Install progress could go quiet for long stretches during big downloads and look stuck on "Starting install…". It now shows a live elapsed timer so you can tell it's working, recovers gracefully if it briefly loses contact with the app, and won't mistake a half-finished model download for a finished one.
Download Doza Assist.dmg below, open it, and drag Doza Assist to Applications. The build is signed and notarized, so it opens without a Gatekeeper warning.
