Inventory, wallet & market

Part of the Usage reference. · ← Previous: Friends & chat · Next: Configuration →

Read-only access to your Steam inventory, wallet balance, and the Community Market (item prices, search, and your own listings). Item price and market search are public and need no login. Inventory, wallet, and your listings require an active session, or a browser web token stored via login --web-token, which powers exactly these commands without a client login.

Market eligibility. Wallet and market features require the account to be eligible for the Steam Community Market: Steam mandates the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for 15+ days (and no recent new-device holds). Ineligible accounts get a clear error rather than data. (Buying/selling are not implemented yet.)

inventory

List the logged-in account's inventory for a game.

aurelia inventory <APP_ID> [--context <ID>] [--json]
Option Description
-c, --context <ID> Inventory context id (default 2). Steam community items (cards, gems, backgrounds) live under app 753, context 6.

The text view is an AMOUNT / TRADE / MKT / NAME table (TRADE = tradable, MKT = marketable). The --json output is an array of { "asset_id", "class_id", "name", "market_hash_name", "item_type", "amount", "tradable", "marketable", "icon_url" }.

aurelia inventory 753 --context 6 # your Steam cards / gems / backgrounds
aurelia inventory 730 # CS2 items (context 2)
aurelia inventory 753 --context 6 --json

wallet

Show your Steam Wallet balance. Requires an active, market-eligible session.

aurelia wallet [--json]

The --json output is { "balance_cents", "currency", "country", "formatted" } (balance_cents is in the currency's minor units and currency is the Steam currency id).

The text view prints the lowest price, median price, and 24-hour volume. The --json output is { "market_hash_name", "lowest_price", "median_price", "volume" } (prices are Steam-formatted strings, and any may be null if Steam has no data).
