Network Analyzer v1.6.0
Version 1.6.0 Release!
General Notes:
- Uploaded the latest build exe to GitHub.
- Moved the Status Bar for the Latency Monitor to the bottom of the window to match the new design for the IP Scanner.
- Updated the Latency Monitor Traceroute mode and the IP Scanner to display the results of their scan live instead of all at once upon completion.
- Updated the scan duration for the IP Scanner to be live rather than displayed upon completion.
- Moved the ReadMe information to the Wiki on the GitHub repository.
New Features:
- Added the Profile Manager for the Latency Monitor to store commonly used targets, which persist between app instances.
- Added the Status Bar for the IP Scanner to display the total number of scannable IPs, total active IPs and total inactive IPs.
- Added the Report Manager to allow for managing report data in one centralized location for all features.
- Added the option to generate each report type as a CSV along with the HTML format.
- Added a local SQLite database to provide redundancy and prevent data loss in the case of the app closing prior to the monitoring session completing successfully. Note: The data stored in the database is only for local redundancy and does not report back to anywhere outside of the device running the application.
- Added logging to help track crashes and better troubleshoot issues.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the Average Latency in the Latency Monitor wasn't being calculated correctly.
- Fixed a bug where the Latency Monitor Status wasn't accurately representing the status of the target when the target wasn't active in Traceroute Mode.
- (#2) Fixed a bug (hopefully) where the Network Analyzer would crash due to mishandling the available ephemeral ports on a device.
