Zone knowledge: Splitpaw Lair #147

Decoding this for the record before it goes anywhere — Splitpaw Lair, 7 spawn points and 1 learned timer:
Learned timer: A Nisch Mas Mender — 471s (~7m51s). Not folding it into the shipped catalog yet, and here's the honest reason. The points are all placeholder-tier gnolls, none confirmed, most resting on one or two kills apiece — perfectly normal for a first pass through a zone, and useful locally, since placeholder locations are what the map's projected respawn circles are drawn from. But local is where they belong for now. The timer is the interesting one. Also worth noting the location: the catalog's note puts the Mender at (104, -146) from the wiki, and this session archived it at (116, -150) — about 13 units apart, which is close enough to be the same camp and mildly reassuring about both. Leaving this open as the tracking thread for Splitpaw knowledge. Anyone else camping there: Map → Share zone knowledge exports yours in this same format, and a second independent set of samples for that Mender timer is exactly what would let it ship. |

Update: the Mender's timer shipped in v1.84.0. To be clear about which way this went, since the reasoning above was that one sample isn't enough: it shipped because it fills a blank, not because one sample became convincing. That entry has always carried The seven spawn points are still not in the shipped catalog. Unconfirmed placeholder gnolls at one or two kills apiece are genuinely useful locally — they're what the map draws its projected respawn circles from — but that isn't the same standard as shipping them to everyone. Still the open ask, and now it's the only thing between this and a solid number: if you camp that Mender, Map → Share zone knowledge exports your session in the same format as the post above. Two or three more independent gaps from that camp is what separates a real timer from a variance roll. Same for the placeholder points — a second set from someone else's session is what would let them ship. If anyone reading has a contradicting time for it, that's more valuable than another confirming one. Post it here. |
