Quest tracker is not picking up a foraged item. for quest Yuio's Illness, resulting in the Wakizashi of the Frozen Skies, I have Kejekan Palm Fruit in my bag but tracker does not recognize that.

Half-diagnosed, and I think it's a one-line fix — but I need your exact log line to be sure rather than guessing.

What I've ruled out. The quest data is correct: Kejekan Palm Fruit ×1 is in Yuio's Illness in the shipped catalog, so the tracker knows it wants it. And foraging is parsed — it isn't a case of the whole event being ignored.

Where it almost certainly breaks. The pattern EQBuddy matches is:

You have scrounged up a Kejekan Palm Fruit.
You have scrounged up an Ice Crystal.

— that is, a or an, and nothing else. If Legends writes "some" for a stacked or mass-noun forage:

You have scrounged up some Kejekan Palm Fruit.

…it silently doesn't parse, and you get exactly what you're seeing: the item lands in your bags and the tracker never hears about it.

What would settle it: paste the actual line from your log, verbatim. It'll be in your eqlog_<character>_<server>.txt — searching for "scrounged" will find it. If it says "some", that's the fix and it ships in the next release.

If it says "a" or "an" and it's still not counting, that's a different bug and a more interesting one, and I'd want the surrounding few lines too.

You've filed three of these in one sitting (#192, #193, #197) and all three were real — #193 in particular was silently corrupting checklists. Much appreciated.

The missing "a" or "an" would be the culprit, I think. Maybe catching everything post-"scrounged up " and truncating the first five characters of the found string if they match "some "?

No article at all — not "some", not "a". Your read was right.

But this is already fixed, and was before you reported it. The optional-article
change shipped in 1.89.0 (it came in with the loot provenance work in #198, where
130 forages were being missed for the same reason). You reported on 1.88.3, which is the
last version that had the bug. Your exact line now parses — I've added it verbatim to the
test suite so that answer stays true.

So: upgrade and it should just work. If it doesn't on 1.92.0 or later, that's a
different bug in the path between forage and the quest tracker, and I'd want to know —
send the surrounding few lines and I'll chase it.

I should have checked the shipped fix history before offering you a diagnosis. Sorry for
sending you to Notepad++ for a line I could have answered from the changelog.
