Bingo

• Diagonal and anti-diagonal are marked with D / AD ticks.
• Larger grids keep the same cell and font size as a 5×5. You can also click the board to enlarge it.

Journey

• Full screen from the Journey window or pop out into its own window.

Bug fixes

• Reaching the Grand Goal no longer auto-sends leftover rounds. Remaining checks follow the room Release setting (!release / auto-release). The HUD updates from Archipelago’s checked locations after a release.
• Redirects and short titles now resolve to the real Wikipedia page name before a check is sent (e.g. Task Scheduler → Windows Task Scheduler).

Wikipelago 1.0.0

A custom Archipelago world inspired by wiki racing. Each check is a Start → Target round: click Wikipedia links to reach the target, collect items, and finish the Grand Goal.

Install wikipelago.apworld and this YAML from the assets below, then generate a new seed.

How it plays

• Only in-article Wikipedia links count as moves
• Some rounds are open at the start; Round Access unlocks more
• Collect Knowledge Fragments to reveal the Grand Goal, a question with the answer being your final goal page. Reach it to finish the slot.

Languages

Play on English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, or Polish Wikipedia (wikipedia_language in the YAML). The top-right dropdown only translates the client UI; it does not change which wiki you race on.

Defaults and extras

• Side branches can be unlocked by reaching a crossroad and obtaining a key. They are themed target pages that you can reach simultaneously as progressing the main road.
• Letter-pair bingo adds boards filled with letter pais. Visit pages starting with these paris to stamp your board. Full lines count as location checks. Stamps can be found to check a nasty letter pair!
• Tools: Back, Reroll, Search, Compass can help you navigate the game, can be unlocked from the start or through the pool.
• Optional spice (off by default): deaths and deathlink, traps and traplink, sanities, hiding parts of wiki pages, Use at your own risk.

The hosted client is 1.0 after this release. Old seeds should continue to work on the new client, but to stay on the old 0.6 client, run locally from tag 0.6.0-ZaWarudo!, see Setup, Option 2.
