Native offline Armenian speech and Armenian–Russian translation for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.

  • Gor Armenian speech, speed 0.1–2.0 in steps of 0.1, pause/resume and stop.
  • Local translation in both directions, automatically after a 600 ms typing pause or immediately with Translate.
  • Selected-text macOS Service, clipboard speech, phrase history and audio cache.
  • All models included. No Python, account, subscription or cloud API required.

Download the DMG and drag Armenian Speaker to Applications. This build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. macOS may block first launch; if you trust the download, follow Apple's guidance: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102445. Managed Macs may prohibit this exception.

Machine pronunciation and translation may contain errors. This release does not include microphone transcription. Intel Macs are not supported.

Eight tests passed, including real speech synthesis, translation in both directions and delayed-input cancellation. Services were checked in Safari and TextEdit. Built and run on macOS 26.6.2; macOS 14 is the deployment target, not a separately tested machine.

SHA256SUMS contains download checksums. The source archive includes application source and the GPL Piper/espeak-ng component sources. Component and model licenses are included inside the application.
