Hi,

would really like to see an "api" to let user connect platform to different platform.

this would be both website and mainly app side, but still open this here.

user would need to create plugins for website to connect platform this will populate the library of the user with a "tag" that say wich extension added it, and if multiple extension added it there will only be displayed.

on the app side it will work "as normal" except that the download logic will be implemented by the extension (this can create security risk if there is a malicious extension), it will for the example of a steam game:

• open steam
• launch the download on steam end
• wait for the download to finish
• report the progress to drop

Sounds good, definitely on the roadmap at some point. I'm going to move this to drop-app since we likely won't have any server side support for it (I'm not sure how that would work)

Serverside, Id love it if we could import game files directly from gog to a new version. An alternative to Gog Galaxy

Yeah that's definitely something we're going to be looking to implement, most likely with auto-updates and all the bells and whistles. Will either be 0.3.0 or 0.4.0

this app would literally have everything imaginable, truly a swiss knife of libre gaming. even thinking about your plans fascinates me. been following the project from the start. good luck guys
