v0.5.1
fae293c

A patch release of 0.5.0. An export is named by the model's file name
instead of the path the model was saved at, which could carry the author's
account and folder names (#782). crates.io and PyPI show the README packed
into each version, and 0.5.0's still called 0.4.0 the latest release;
0.5.1's names the release it ships in.

Upgrading from 0.5.0

  • A file without a PartAtom title, as most projects are, exports under its
    file name
    (#782): the IfcProject's Name, the IFC header's FILE_NAME,
the glTF scene root and the diagnostics' project_name were its original
    path, folders included.

Fixed

  • An export names the model by its file name, not the path it was saved
    at (#782).
A file without a PartAtom title, as most projects are, was
named after its full original path, which can hold the author's Windows
account and client folder names. That name went into the IFC header's
FILE_NAME, the IfcProject's Name, the glTF scene root and the viewer's
project node, and the export diagnostics' project_name, which skipped the
redaction their original_path gets. It is now the file name without its
    extension: RE1 Architecture's export is named RE1.
  • The README names the release it ships in. The release pull request now
moves the README's release section before the tag (RELEASE.md, step 8),
since a published version's README can never be edited; the channel checks
still follow in the post-release pull request.

Changed

  • serde_json 1.0.154 (#776), a patch update in the lockfile the CLI
archives, the wheels and the container image are built from.

Research

  • Autodesk's Snowdon Towers 2024 models are pinned for Measure (#766).
-f samples=true now also reads the sample's Architectural, Structural,
HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical models from Autodesk's download host, each
pinned by sha256 and size and never stored, so a regression like #736
shows in the run's head-against-base diff. On main they export 6,056,
    1,282, 2,596, 6,253 and 1,576 elements (run 39119698158).
