What's New

Pre-Push Version Audit Hook (scripts/pre-push)

• Dynamically extracts version from main.py on every push
• Compares against README.md — auto-patches if mismatched
• Cross-checks 5 critical files for version consistency
• POSIX-compatible (works on macOS BSD and Linux GNU)
• Install: bash scripts/install-hooks.sh

Single-Command Setup Scripts

macOS/Linux (setup.sh):

chmod +x setup.sh && ./setup.sh

Windows (setup.bat):

Double-click setup.bat

Both scripts:

1. ✅ Strict dependency checks (Python 3, Git) with exact download URLs
2. ✅ Silent venv creation + pip install -r requirements.txt
3. ✅ Interactive API key prompt → writes .env file
4. ✅ Git hook installation
5. ✅ Opens project folder in native file manager

Updated PyInstaller Spec (v2.4.0)

• All V2.4 dependencies bundled (httpx, pydantic, openpyxl, tkinterdnd2, dotenv)
• Excludes heavy packages (numpy, pandas, matplotlib) for 21MB bundle
• Proper info_plist with version metadata
