Weft 0.4.16
Weft 0.4.15
- Right-click a conversation → Add Topic to My Replies to choose, per conversation, whether replies sent from inside a topic start with "Re: —". Handy on for AI assistants, off for people. The switch in Settings is the starting choice.
Weft 0.4.14
- Send files: click the + next to the reply box, or drag files onto the conversation. They show above the reply box until you send (click ✕ to remove one). Copies are kept in Pictures → Weft for a day so Messages can read them, then cleared.
Weft 0.4.13
- When you come back to a conversation, Weft opens All messages and shows a Back to "" button for the topic you were in, so you can return to it with one click. It never reopens the topic by itself, so a reply only gets its "Re:" tag when you choose.
Weft 0.4.12
- When Messages shows a conversation dark or light to suit its background, Weft's window does the same while that conversation is open, like Messages. Switch it off in Settings → Appearance.
- Right-click a conversation → Appearance to choose Light or Dark for just that conversation, or Automatic (as in Messages).
Weft 0.4.11
- Conversations with a photo background in Messages (set by you or the other person) now show it in Weft too. Messages' built-in background styles keep Weft's conversation colour.
Weft 0.4.10
- Fixed: Weft could switch you from the topic you were in back to All messages (for example when its window reappeared), so replies went out without their "Re: " tag. Reopening the conversation that's already open now leaves you where you are.
Weft 0.4.9
- Fixed: sorting could stall for several minutes with the spinner showing, because of a change in 0.4.3 to how Weft runs the AI tool. That change is undone.
Weft 0.4.8
- Fixed: you can now drag conversations up and down to reorder them. Right-click → Move Up / Move Down still works too.
Weft 0.4.7
- Fixed: conversations couldn't be reordered. Drag a conversation onto another to put it there, or right-click → Move Up / Move Down.
