DeepViewer 0.3.3 (Build 75) is the first public update since 0.2.5. This release is for Apple Silicon Macs (arm64) and includes a freshly built, Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized DMG.

What changed

  • Separate Work projects from workspace-free Chat history, with project creation and session search. Cold-start lists now restore Chat/Work classification from saved sessions without opening each conversation.
  • Deliver generated images and other files as attachment cards. Files originating outside the workspace or without an extension are copied into a session output path that the sidebar can preview.
  • Add the Better Sidebar workbench for files, editor, terminal, Git, and browser panels; add a first-party model capability editor and bounded provider scanning.
  • Improve progressive disclosure, conversation-sized status text, image-generation shimmer, 12 × 12 px Drive activity, settings layout, and system appearance.
  • Route the bundled runtime through the system proxy/PAC configuration and request scoped permission for private-network access.
  • Keep installed and development data in separate, version-independent folders. First launch imports older same-edition data with backups instead of starting an empty profile after replacement.

The previously tested Taskboard integration has been removed.

DeepViewer is based on DeepSeek Harness. The third-party subscriptions plugin and Better Sidebar retain their MIT licenses; the README details the pinned versions and DeepViewer adaptations.

Verification and limits

The public package was rebuilt from the committed 0.3.3 source snapshot, audited for private files and developer identifiers, signed, notarized, stapled, and Gatekeeper-checked. Automated migration and session-list tests passed. Final visual acceptance of migrated sessions, settings, and attachments, as well as real-account/provider behavior, remains with the maintainer. Back up your data before a major upgrade.
