What's New
Follow-up tasks
- When an agent finds a problem outside the task it's working on, it can propose it as a follow-up instead of fixing it in place. The proposal shows as a card at the end of the turn: Start runs it in a new session on its own worktree branch in the background, Do it here sends it to the current conversation, Dismiss drops it.
- When a follow-up finishes, its result goes back to the conversation that proposed it — right away if that conversation is idle, otherwise once its current turn ends.
Pull requests
- A PR an agent opens with
gh pr createis now attached to its session, and the sidebar follows it through merge or close. - A session that opened several PRs shows a count on its row; hover it to see every PR with its status, repository and number, and lines added and removed. Click one to open it on GitHub.
Fullscreen panels
- A fullscreen right panel keeps the main session as a pinned first tab, so you can switch back to the chat without leaving fullscreen. The tabs sit in the title bar, and a New tab opened there stays fullscreen.
macOS
- The macOS app is now signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. It opens without a Gatekeeper warning, and you no longer need to run
xattrafter installing.
Aegis v0.0.64
What's New
Usage
- Settings → Usage is rebuilt around one table of every model: tokens with a share bar, share, cost (labelled API equivalent, estimated or priced-only), cost per 1M tokens, sessions, cache hit, a trend line and when it was last used. The busiest five show; the rest fold into one row, with a Total under them.
- Pick a range (7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 1 year); the headline, table and trends follow it.
- Plan limits sit on one line under the toolbar as chips — share left and time to reset — that turn yellow and then red as a limit runs low. Hover a chip for its detail: how much of the window has gone, when it resets and where your current pace leads. Claude, Codex, Grok and Qoder use the same chips.
- The activity heatmap is drawn in your theme's accent color.
Design
- The Design section opens on a home of design cards grouped by project; opening one gives the canvas the whole window, with a back arrow in the title bar. The sidebar keeps your projects and chats.
- What you have selected on the canvas now travels with the message you send, so the agent works on exactly what the chip showed, even for queued messages. Multi-board selections get a chip too.
- A quieter dock header: the agent's logo before the chat title, and icon buttons to show the chat, open it beside its conversation, or minimize.
- Design tabs can go fullscreen like images and review.
Agent traces
- Every row in an agent's trace — reasoning, tools, subagents, approvals, errors — now shares one compact line style with a kind icon, elapsed time and status. A finished turn always collapses to "Worked for".
Providers
- Settings → Providers is redesigned: agents first, as a status grid with Install, Sign in and Setup guide actions, then Bubble's model providers as a list.
- The Claude-compatible providers (MiniMax, MiMo, Zhipu, Moonshot and DeepSeek through Claude Code) are removed; those vendors now ship their own agents, which Aegis supports directly.
Phone
- The phone gets updates pushed instead of polling, syncs long conversations by their tail, and connects directly over your local network when it can. Archiving a session updates the phone's list.
Fixes
- The turn's changes card no longer lists files written outside the project, and
cd … && …commands record the right paths. - The composer's project picker is more compact, with New project pinned at the bottom.
Aegis v0.0.63
What's New
Claude sessions
- Stop now ends only the current turn: background subagents, commands and workflows keep running, and a "N in background" list beside the composer stops each one on its own.
- The context ring uses Claude Code's own context figures after every turn, with a breakdown of what fills the window — no extra API requests.
- Permission prompts follow Claude Code's hints: its own prompt text, no "Always allow this session" when that rule would allow more than the request, and Decline as the default where Claude Code asks for it.
- Sending several messages quickly no longer leaves a session stuck on "running" when Claude Code answers them in one turn.
Markdown
- Embedded videos play in the installed app (they were blocked by its security policy), including Obsidian-style
![[clip.mp4]]embeds. - Paste or drop MP4, WebM and MOV videos into a Markdown file: they are copied next to the document and embedded, however large.
- Inserted image and video links stay valid when the document's name has spaces or parentheses.
Aegis v0.0.62
What's New
Design
- A Design section with the conversation floating on the canvas: agents draw boards live while they write them, for every provider.
- Designs belong to the project and can have many chats; the list shows each design's canvas and when it was edited.
- Pencil-style editing with pages, auto layout, design tokens and quick single-layer edits, plus the project's design system, components and templates for the agent.
- Comments with live board updates, approvals in the dock, and handing boards to the project for implementing.
- Export boards as images or a PDF with a page per board.
- Design mode in the browser: annotate any page by element or by area.
A new main window
- Codex-style shell with an icon rail; session tabs are gone and panes get real "New tab" tabs.
- Glass theme (macOS): a pure white or graphite theme on a Liquid Glass window, with a frosted glass toggle for any theme.
- Themes are derived in OKLCH, with new brand and editor presets.
- Inline generative UI widgets for every provider, drawn while the agent writes them.
- Obsidian-style live preview for Markdown files, now with theme-aware source colors in light and dark.
iPhone companion
- A native SwiftUI iPhone app with encrypted remote access to the desktop, over the LAN or a public relay.
- Review diffs, browse project files, use slash commands and skills, and start or continue tasks from the phone.
- Push notifications that name the event and the task.
Agents and providers
- New providers: Devin and MiMo Code over ACP.
- OpenCode 2.x, Kimi Code 2.x, DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2 with live streaming, Bubble SDK 0.0.61, Qoder SDK 1.0.52, Pi 1.2.0 and Claude Agent SDK 0.3.299.
- Workflows can be started from any agent's chat, with a tidier in-chat board.
- Handing a session to another agent now briefs it instead of replaying a truncated transcript.
- Browser use with screenshots, more actions and one consent path, for Qoder, Bubble and OpenCode too.
- The todo progress card works again with Claude Code's new task tools, on every Claude model.
- Codex 0.162 starts reliably even without the bundled computer-use plugin.
Browser, terminal and search
- Rebuilt in-app browser with a new toolbar, find, zoom, keyboard shortcuts and page permissions.
- Rebuilt embedded terminal runtime and search palette.
- Feishu bridge rebuilt on the official channel SDK.
Fixes
- Large videos stream past the preview size cap; fullscreen previews survive tab and session switches.
- Pill-shaped View source and Open buttons in the file preview header.
- Many smaller fixes across the right panel, sidebar, onboarding and Markdown editor.

Aegis v0.0.59
What's New
Board
- New Board workspace: a Linear-style kanban over your agent sessions with Backlog, Todo, Working, Review, Done and Canceled stages, column menus, hidden stages, and a "show empty columns" switch.
- Display properties as pill chips (Project, Agent, Branch, Changes, Pull request) control what each card shows.
- Cards show the branch a task ran on with file and line-change counts, plus the pull request state (open, merged, closed).
Task detail
- A Linear-style detail page: thread cards for each round of conversation, an activity timeline, and a properties rail with Stage, Project, Agent and Git facts.
- Pull requests from the task: create one straight from the rail, open the existing one, and see opened, merged and closed events in the activity.
- The properties rail can be folded from the header, using the same panel toggle as the session view; folded, the properties move to a compact row under the title. It also folds on its own in narrow panes, and the show/hide animates like the left sidebar.
- Task composers now match the session chat: slash commands and skills,
@file mentions, pasted images and attachments, and queue or steer messages while a run is active. The agent's working state shows on the thread card instead of replacing the composer.
App chrome
- Browser-style tab bar with equal-width tabs.
- Seamless chrome plate behind the sidebar and content, with Linear-style board columns.
- Collapsible files rail and a metadata card for Markdown front matter.
- Session handoff indicators show the provider route ahead of session titles.
- A capped scrollbar, shared with the sidebar, on the task detail page.
Fixes
- The sidebar no longer peeks open right after you collapse it with the pointer still on the toggle.
- The chat outline rail hides when the chat pane is too narrow for it and returns when it widens.
- Turn file-change summaries use full Git snapshots, with fallbacks for truncated snapshots and subagent edits.
- Bash file inference ignores heredoc bodies.
- No focus flash when switching tabs.
Usage
- Heatmap tooltips use compact token counts (217.4K rather than 217,354) on an inverted plate: dark in light themes, light in dark themes.
Bubble Agent
- Upgraded the bundled Bubble SDK to 0.0.56, adding the OpenCode Zen provider and newer Gemini Flash and Muse Spark models.
Aegis v0.0.58
What's New

- Improved compact-window sizing and right-panel behavior so utility panels stay anchored without taking over the whole window.
- Fixed attachment previews so they open above an active browser panel.
