8.14.0 (2026-09-28)

Features

  • add FastImageBackground to show content on top of an image (#1171) (957712b)

Notes

FastImageBackground shows content on top of an image, like React Native's ImageBackground. In the next major version, FastImage won't render children (the image will be a single native view, #1137), so move content on top of images to FastImageBackground, which works the same in both.
