This release introduces two new C# WinForms applications to facilitate the testing and verification of binary image transmission over UART, supporting the Z-Modem FPGA project.

πŸš€ New Features

1. Image to Binary Converter (image_cov)

  • Function: Converts standard images (JPG, PNG, BMP) into raw binary pixel data.
  • Features:
    • Supports RGB565, RGB888, and Grayscale formats.
    • Resizes images to target dimensions (e.g., 128x160).
    • Provides a Hex Preview of the converted data.
    • Sends raw binary data directly via UART.

2. Binary Image Compositor (bin_image_compos)

  • Function: Receives raw binary data via UART and reconstructs the image.
  • Features:
    • Real-time data buffering and status updates.
    • Reconstructs images based on configurable Width, Height, and Format.
    • Visualizes the received data for verification.

πŸ› οΈ Improvements

  • Documentation: Updated README.md with detailed usage instructions for the new tools.
  • Stability: Fixed startup issues and dependency conflicts in the WinForms projects.

πŸ“¦ Usage

These tools can be used in a loopback configuration (TX connected to RX) to verify the data path without external hardware.
