A design that makes heavy use of 3D printed parts, to enable makers to quickly assemble an automated ventilator. OpenOx is based on a 3D printed threadless breadboard, to enable modular design, quickly adaptable to different critical components (such as respirator bags or driving mechanisms). The vision is to build a library of 3D-printable accessories to fit available parts.
3D-parts designed in Autodesk Fusion360 and were printed using a Prusa MK3s dD-printer. Everyone is welcome to join, for that your Autodesk Fusion360 email address is required. Ports to Openscad are welcome!
- x2 (two) servos, LD-3015MG (spec. sheet, 15Kg or greater);
- x1 (one) adult manual resuscitator PVC Ambu bag;
- Access to a 3D-printer and PLA material (the printer used to test the parts was a Prusa MK3s);
- Set of 3D-printed parts;
- 1Kg of PLA/PETG material (less than 1Kg is required and other materials may also work. All parts were tested using PLA material);
