Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 04 Oct 12:55

1.7.2-Release

Changes

  • Recruitment templates now show message size including hidden guild-link data. The editor explains that recipient names can change the final size.

Fixes

  • Fixed GUILDLINK templates appearing within the limit in Settings but being rejected as too long by the executor.
  • Test Whisper now checks the expanded message against the same 255-byte limit before sending.

Known issues

  • None currently identified.

v1.7.1-Release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Oct 18:38

1.7.1-Release

Changes

  • Failed housing lookups keep their result visible. Click the address to retry, or select a member whose plot address has changed for a fresh lookup.

Fixes

  • Fixed roster housing links rapidly alternating between preparing a visit and reporting no visitable house. Refreshing the details panel no longer repeatedly requests the same failed lookup.

Known issues

  • None currently identified.

v1.7.0-Release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Oct 12:34

1.7.0-Release

Changes

  • Switched to native sync transport and improved category priority, reducing clean-sync time by about 68% in our two-client tests (80 minutes to about 26 minutes). IBLT-based comparison is retained, so only differences are transferred.
  • Sync now prioritises former members, alts/mains, nicknames, join dates, birthdays, general notes, officer notes, macro rules and macro ignores, followed by the remaining categories.
  • Guild Health and New Member Follow-up settings are now guild-master controlled and sync to members as read-only settings.
  • Guild Sync shows clearer failure details, affected characters and recovery advice. Categories needing attention no longer hold up the others.
  • All participants need 1.7.0 or later to use the new sync transport.

Fixes

  • Fixed mismatched alt/main counts and unnecessary comparisons caused by obsolete timestamps and equivalent legacy data.
  • Failed alt/main updates no longer report successful completion. Temporary failures retry; persistent conflicts show Needs attention and can be retried after correction.

Known issues

  • None currently identified.

v1.6.1-Release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Sep 16:34

1.6.1-Release

Changes

  • Improved sync for players who alt-tab or run WoW in the background with Max Background FPS enabled. If frame rates fall below 25 FPS, sync now continues with smaller work batches and slower outgoing pacing instead of pausing until FPS improves.
  • Guild Sync now explains why a comparison was deferred, including missing acknowledgements, reply timeouts and busy peers.

Fixes

  • Sync uses roster online/offline updates to stop attempts to unavailable players and resume checks when they return.
  • Waiting for one player's acknowledgement no longer blocks outgoing updates to other players.
  • Failed comparisons discard stale requests and back off repeated attempts, leaving available peers more opportunity to sync.
  • Online roster members no longer appear probably offline merely because they have no recent sync activity.

Known issues

  • None currently known.

v1.6.0-Release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 29 Sep 21:26

1.6.0-Release

Changes

  • Guild Sync now checks for differences on login or reload, transfers the records needed, and sends live updates afterwards. Interrupted syncs retain progress and resume when peers are available. Existing permissions and combat restrictions remain.
  • Compressed sync traffic reduces data transfers. Large records use acknowledged segments with retry recovery. Updated status text explains category checks, received updates and deferred peers.
  • Added Guild Invite beside recruitment cooldown entries in Ban List. Select an Antispam entry to send one manual invite without retyping the name; its cooldown remains active.
  • Added an optional General setting to open Guild Paragon with the guild shortcut. Disabled by default; reload after changing it. Unavailable during combat.

Fixes

  • Compacted the General Settings keybinding row to keep the lower panel inside the window.
  • Completed English string coverage for the updated Guild Sync screen.

Known issues

  • All participants should update to 1.6.0 for the new sync system. Event Log replacement remains manual.

v1.5.0-Release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Sep 09:30

Changelog

2026-09-25 - v1.5.0-Release

Changes

  • Retail main-profession browser: member search, offline members shown by default, an optional online-only filter and native recipe viewing.
  • Initial WoW Forever beta support in the same package as Retail, with older guild APIs and class colours supported.
  • Both clients: roster Recent History and Audit Details now open in flyouts beside Macro Rules. All four notes share a compact column, with editable custom notes and read-only Blizzard notes respecting officer permissions.
  • Forever Guild Health replaces M+ information with Upcoming Birthdays and Level Distribution. Upcoming Dates has a wider button on both clients.
  • Added /gp client for client compatibility diagnostics.

Fixes

  • Forever hides unsupported Housing, M+, Achievement Points, Achievement chat, Guild Challenges, Guild Finder and Applications features, and skips Housing requests.
  • Forever recruitment suppresses scan-triggered Who popups, uses click-driven queries, its nine classes and ten races (including both Skyborne variants), and separate invalid-zone defaults without Retail-only content.
  • Forever guild invites, recruitment and Guild Sync preserve full character names without adding a realm suffix. Retail retains Name-Realm support.
  • Fixed startup when no other addon supplies AceComm by loading the bundled library.
  • Existing Retail behavior and saved preferences are preserved unless a shared change is listed above.

Known issues

  • Forever client compatibility remains subject to beta changes. Additional beta instance names may require custom invalid-zone entries. Companion support remains Retail-only.

v1.4.2-Release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 19 Sep 23:18

Changelog

2026-09-20 - v1.4.2-Release

Changes

  • Pick birthdays using named months and a day grid instead of ambiguous number boxes. Existing birthdays are preserved; Save and Clear still control changes. Upcoming birthdays also show a day and named month, independent of date-format settings.

  • Choose the default date display, DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY in General settings. The Joined field displays and accepts your chosen format; stored data, exports and other date-entry formats are unchanged.

  • Configure the last four roster columns in Settings > General. Choose Nickname, Alt / Main, any of the four notes, Current Location, M+ Score or Achievement Points. Each choice can appear only once. Existing unique column choices are preserved.

  • Column headers and sorting follow your selections. Officer-only notes retain permission checks. Current Location is shown for online members; M+ scores follow the Guild Health season-start setting and show - when unrated, and achievement points use the latest available roster data.

Fixes

  • None

  • None
