/First of all, I want to say thank you for this mod and for adding controller support. It really helped a lot and made the experience much better for people who prefer playing with a controller.
I also wanted to ask if you still plan to continue working on this mod in the future. If so, I have a suggestion that would be extremely useful for players who use mods and custom controls.
A layer system would help a lot. Something similar to what reWASD does, where we can switch between different control layers depending on the situation. Unfortunately, reWASD is paid, and even though I managed to combine it with your mod, it is still not very easy or practical to use.
Having a built-in layer system would make the mod much more flexible, especially for players who need different control setups for combat, menus, inventory, or other actions.
Again, thank you for the great work and for the controller support. It really made a big difference.
(In my current situation)
- I’m currently playing with the modpack NightfallCraft - The Casket of Reveries, which also includes Epic Fight.
The difficulty is that NightfallCraft adds a lot of extra mechanics, actions, menus, and gameplay systems. Because of that, playing with a controller becomes much harder without a proper layer system.
A layer system would help a lot because it would allow different control layouts for different situations, such as combat, inventory, building, menus, or normal exploration. Right now, trying to fit everything into a single controller layout is very difficult and not very practical.
