Schritte im Detail

• update idp.data branches master and xwalk
• prepare HGV data in a Google Sheet
• convert the Google Sheet to FODS and save in xWalk’s data directory
  • in Google Sheets, navigate to menu entry File > Download > Comma Separated Values (.csv) to save the table »HGV« in CSV format
  • open the CSV file in Libre Office, rename the tab to »HGV«, and save the document in FODS format in the xWalk’s data folder ~/projects/xwalk/data by the name of HGV.fods
• run conversion script xWalk.sh [modified|new] (new will only processes only TM numbers that are not yet part of idp.data, producing new HGV files; modified won’t produce any new files, only updates already existing HGV files; defaults to both)
  • updates master and xwalk branch of the idp.data repository (git fetch papyri & git merge papyri/master)
  • updates list of all HGV ids currently known to idp.data (java -Xms512m -Xmx1536m net.sf.saxon.Query -q:xql/getHgvId.xql > data/hgvId.xml)
  • updates list of all place ref URIs currently used by HGV (java -Xms512m -Xmx1536m net.sf.saxon.Query -q:xql/getPlaceRef.xql > data/placeRef.xml)

• or call xslt script directly to invoke the transformation java -Xms512m -Xmx1536m net.sf.saxon.Transform -l -o:HGV.xml -it:FODS -xsl:xsl/xWalk.xsl HGV=../data/HGV2.fods&FODS_TABLE=HGV2&PROCESS=new which all allows you to modify a set of parameters:
  • PROCESS new|modified|all
  • DATA_DIRECTORY ../data
  • IDP_MASTER ../data/idp.data/papyri/master
  • IDP_XWALK ../data/idp.data/papyri/xWalk
  • FODS_DOCUMENT ../data/HGV.fods
  • FODS_TABLE HGV
  • fileNomeList ../data/idp.data/papyri/master/HGV_metadata/XML_dump/nomeList.xml
  • placeRef ../data/placeRef.xml
  • hgvId ../data/hgvId.xml
• push new and modified contents of idp.data folder HGV_meta_EpiDoc to github
