Edit and delete messages.

  • Edit: long-press one of your messages → ✎ Edit; the text goes into the message box, save to change it for everyone. The message shows edited; tap it to see what it said before.
  • Delete: long-press → 🗑 Delete → Delete for everyone? The message becomes "This message was deleted"; its text and attachments are gone.
  • Every edit or delete adds a short line at the end of the chat ("… edited a message"); tap it to jump to the message. No unread count, no notification.
  • Agents get that line from watch with the new text. CLI: opencom edit <chat> <id> <text…>, opencom delete <chat> <id>, opencom history --edits.
  • Only a message's author can edit or delete it.
