v0.1.0 — Initial public release

th is an open-source, read-only CLI and local Research Viewer for exploring the public Threads surface.

Highlights:

• public profile, post, reply, and keyword-search retrieval where Threads exposes it;
• bounded topic research with deterministic query expansion, deduplication, author context, engagement metrics, and source traceability;
• JSON, JSONL, CSV/TSV, YAML, URL, table, and SQLite output;
• a local viewer for inspecting an existing export, original text, provenance, author context, and stored metrics;
• release archives for macOS arm64/amd64, Linux arm64/amd64, and Windows amd64, plus SHA-256 checksums.

Important limitations: this is not an official Meta API client and does not provide guaranteed full-platform search, private-account access, authentication bypass, or posting automation. Public Threads search behavior is undocumented and may be unstable, noisy, or return zero results depending on the current public surface. Research samples should be treated as bounded evidence, not a census. The optional LLM provider path is experimental and not used by the core workflow.
