API Fully Migrated to EFA:
Since I no longer see a future with the DB API, I’ve switched to EFA. As far as my tests have shown, it calculates scheduled routes across Germany and provides real-time data for Bavaria (and in some cases, other states as well).
Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Known issues:

  • If the departure is on time, there is currently no discernible difference between “on time” and “no real-time data”
  • There may still be issues with time zones on certain systems
