You can now start a voice chat with Lumen from any screen, not only the briefing page.

The waveform button in Lumen's chat is available wherever the device can hold a call. On the briefing page the call is about the day's briefing, as before. Everywhere else it is held in today's conversation at the door: what you say is written there, and when Lumen hands something off to think about, the full answer is added to that conversation and the box when it comes back. Those background runs can search past conversations and recalled observations, search the web and check on background work.

Desktop releases are now macOS (Apple silicon) and Windows only. Windows has a single installer, the setup.exe; the MSI and the Linux packages are no longer built. A Windows install made from the MSI updates to the setup.exe. Linux installs no longer receive updates.

• Nothing new.

Known limitations

• The voice chat at the door has not been run on a real device yet. It was tested in CI against simulated parts only.
• Starting a call while hold-to-talk is active is refused with a message, and the other way round; end one before using the other.
• A call that runs past midnight keeps writing to the day it started on.
• The voice chat is still only on iPhone, iPad and Android phones with 8 GB of memory or more.
