OmniDesk Hub 1.5.0
OmniDesk Hub 1.5 — Pages: one page for everything that belongs together.
New
- Pages — a new tab for free-form pages you write in blocks, like Notion. Type / for headings, to-dos, toggles, callouts, quotes, code, tables, images and columns, or just type Markdown. Drag blocks by their ⋮⋮ handle. Pages nest inside pages, get an emoji icon and a cover (a gradient or your own picture), and show up in search, favorites and on Home.
- Live cards — put the things you already keep here onto a page: a task board (list or mini kanban — tick tasks and add new ones right on the page), the week from your calendar, events, notes, documents, whiteboards, slide decks (present from any slide), mail threads (reply as a draft), PDFs and songs. Type /board, /calendar …, drop anything from another tab, or use Send to → Pages. Cards update when the original changes.
- Pages in groups — write a page together, live, with everyone's cursor. Your mail, PDFs and music always stay personal: they're added as plain text there, never as cards.
- Claude and Pages — Claude can now make pages ("a page for the launch with the board and this week's events"), add text and cards to them, rename and move them. Every change has Undo, and Undo never takes your own edits with it. When Claude adds to a page you're typing in, both your text and Claude's end up on the page.
Good to know: Pages sits after PDF in the sidebar, so ⌘1–⌘7 stay the same; Whiteboard is now ⌘9 and Slides has no number shortcut. In a group, update every member to 1.5.
Using the Claude connector? Restart Claude Desktop once after updating so it picks up the new page tools. Details: https://ekexdon.github.io/omnidesk/#pages

OmniDesk Hub 1.4.0
OmniDesk Hub 1.4 — folders for your PDFs, and Claude brings order.
New
- Folders in the PDF library. A row of folders above your PDFs: All · your folders · New folder. Drag a PDF onto a folder, or right-click → Move to folder. Folders only sort the library — your files stay exactly where they are on disk. Deleting a folder keeps its PDFs (with Undo).
- Claude makes to-do boards with your own columns ("To do, Doing, Done").
- Claude makes folders in Notes, Docs and the PDF library and sorts notes, documents and PDFs into them.
- Claude writes documents — a story, a plan, a report — straight into Docs, formatted from markdown.
Every change Claude makes still shows a notice with Undo — and Undo never takes your own work with it: a board you've added tasks to, or a folder you've added folders to, stays. Claude can't delete your notes, tasks, events, documents or mail and never sends mail.
Set up the Claude connector in Settings → Claude (requires Node.js 20 or later). Already set up? Restart Claude Desktop once after updating. Details: https://ekexdon.github.io/omnidesk/#claude

OmniDesk Hub 1.3.0
OmniDesk Hub 1.3 — Claude can now get things done for you.
New
- Claude creates notes, tasks and events. Ask Claude to "save this as a note", "make a task for Friday" or "put a 30-minute call on Monday at 2" — it lands in OmniDesk Hub right away.
- Tick tasks off. Claude can mark tasks done (or open them again).
- Undo for everything. Every change Claude makes shows a notice with Undo in OmniDesk Hub. Claude can't delete your notes, tasks, events or mail, can't edit your documents and never sends mail.
- Claude sees your task boards and calendars, so it puts things in the right place (subscribed calendars stay read-only).
Improved
- The website always loads the matching styles after an update.

OmniDesk Hub 1.2.0
OmniDesk Hub 1.2 — ask Claude about your desk.
OmniDesk Hub now has a connector for Claude (MCP). In Claude Desktop or Claude Code, Claude can search everything you keep in OmniDesk Hub, read it, link what belongs together and write mail drafts — which you read and send yourself.
New
- Claude connector. Turn it on in Settings → Claude, copy the setup for Claude Desktop or Claude Code, paste it into Claude — done. Claude searches mail, calendar, tasks, documents, notes, PDFs, boards and decks in the workspace you have open.
- Mail drafts by Claude. Ask Claude to reply to a message: it drafts the reply with the right subject, recipients and quote, and OmniDesk opens it for you. Claude can't send mail — every message waits until you press Send.
- You stay in charge. Off by default, local only (no network port), an access key you can renew at any time, and every link Claude adds or removes can be undone.
Requires Node.js 20 or later on your computer (Claude starts the connector with it). Details: https://ekexdon.github.io/omnidesk/#claude

OmniDesk Hub 1.1 — now on Windows
OmniDesk Hub 1.1 — now on Windows.
One calm window for your whole working day, now on Windows 10 and 11 as well as the Mac. Mail, calendar, tasks, documents, notes, PDFs, whiteboard, slides and music, side by side. Group Workspaces work across both, so a Mac and a Windows PC can edit the same document live.
New
- Windows 10/11, for Intel/AMD PCs (x64) and Windows on ARM (arm64). It installs per user, no admin rights needed. Shortcuts use Ctrl, the window controls follow your theme, and a double-click on an invite file opens the Join dialog.
- Mixed teams: Macs and Windows PCs share the same Group Workspaces, end-to-end encrypted as before.
Improved
- The privacy firewall now also recognises Windows file paths in every spelling, so nothing personal slips into a group.
- Group files arrive more reliably on slow or busy connections. Interrupted transfers resume over the next link and retry by themselves.
- If saving to a group ever fails (a full disk, for example), the app now says so clearly and keeps saying so until you restart.
- Keyboard layouts with AltGr (German, French and others) no longer trigger app shortcuts by accident.
Install

OmniDesk Hub 1.0
OmniDesk Hub 1.0 — one calm window for your whole working day.
Mail, calendar, tasks, documents, notes, PDFs, an infinite whiteboard, slides and music, side by side in split panes. Drag anything onto anything, send an email to your task list, turn a whiteboard frame into a slide, find everything with ⌘K. Everything is stored on your Mac: no account, no cloud, no tracking.
What's in 1.0
- Mail — several IMAP accounts in one inbox (Gmail with an app password, iCloud, Outlook, any IMAP server); invites land in your calendar.
- Calendar — iCal calendars and subscriptions, drag to reschedule, time-block tasks.
- Tasks — Kanban boards and a daily checklist, linked to the mail, notes and events they came from.
- Documents — a Pages-style editor with export to PDF and Word.
- Notes — quick notes with tags, [[links]], backlinks and voice memos.
- PDF — highlights, underlines, sticky notes, and notes side by side.
- Whiteboard — an infinite canvas with stickies, shapes, drawing and frames.
- Slides — build decks from anything you drop in, present full screen, export PPTX/PDF.
- Music — your local library with a 10-band EQ, and Jam sessions to listen together live.
- Group Workspaces — share a space with a few people: tasks, calendar, documents, notes, boards and decks sync directly between your Macs, end-to-end encrypted, with live co-editing, presence and a shared soundtrack. No account, no server.
