Elastic Email MCP Server 1.0.0

The first GitHub Release of the self-hosted Elastic Email MCP server. It lets AI agents in VS Code (GitHub Copilot), Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP clients work with the Elastic Email REST API v4.

What's in this release

26 MCP tools, served over HTTP on port 5001:

  • Email sending (EmailSending): SendTransactionalEmail, SendBulkEmails, with plain content, HTML, a template or attachments. Falls back to the account's default sender when From is empty.
  • Contacts and lists (ContactsManagement): fetch, add, delete and import contacts (UploadContacts takes a base64 file and creates the list if it's missing), plus create lists and add or remove list contacts.
  • Campaigns (CampaignManagement): create, list, get, update and pause campaigns, and read per-campaign or all-campaign statistics.
  • Segments (SegmentsManagement): create, list and get segments.
  • Templates (TemplatesManagement): fetch one template, or list them by scope and type.
  • Health (HealthCheck): IsReady checks the server and its connection to the API.

Authentication is per request: each client sends its API key in the X-Auth-Token header, and the server checks it against the API before handling the call.
