Spacetime Studio can now install updates from within the app. This release also brings a new SQL editor with syntax highlighting and schema-aware suggestions, plus a more flexible sidebar.

What’s Included

  • The app checks for updates when it opens and every six hours. When an update is available, choose Update now to download and install it; the app then restarts.
  • Update downloads show progress, can be retried if they fail, and can be deferred with Later.
  • The SQL page now has a Monaco editor with syntax highlighting and suggestions for SQL keywords, tables, and columns.
  • The sidebar can collapse to an icon rail, leaving more room for the active page.
  • SQL results and page actions have been refined as part of the editor and sidebar updates.

Notes

macOS and Linux builds are included alongside the Windows installers. The macOS build is for Apple Silicon. The app is unsigned, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning and macOS may show a security prompt when you first open it.
