This pass focuses on making the generated creature's sheet and rolls line up with what its abilities describe. These only impact newly generated creatures. I didn't touch already generated stuff.
Fixes -
- Generated spell attacks now use the creature's spellcasting ability instead of falling back to Strength or Dexterity. The creature also has its casting ability set on the sheet.
- Spell damage no longer adds an ability modifier to every spell attack. Spells that call for it, such as Shillelagh and Spiritual Weapon, still include it.
- Generated leveled spells now use their once per day charge and cantrips remain at will. They no longer try to spend spell slots when the creature's spellcasting says they shouldn't.
- Spells added through Custom Content keep their exported descriptions, damage, activities, and effects while using Encounter Forge's at-will or daily use casting setup.
- Copied custom items keep the connections between their activities and effects, fixing cases where copying an item left an ability pointing at its old effect.
- Generated skills use their appropriate ability scores instead of defaulting to Dexterity.
- Corrected average AC for groups of creatures. The encounter estimate no longer changes just because the same creatures are listed in a different order.
- Added handling for dnd5e v6's movement and AC fields, and for the different spell preparation formats used by supported dnd5e versions.
Changes -
- The estimated rounds readout now explains both numbers: rounds to defeat the enemies and rounds to exhaust the party's HP.
- Updated the documentation around spellcasting and encounter estimates. The estimate is a guide based on HP and damage, so tactics, terrain, control effects, and resources already spent still need the GM's judgment.
