First release. A drop-in look for the Hermes agent.

Contents

  • Gold theme (hermes-classic-gold, light + dark) — DevTools console paste.
  • Two pets — noir-neko and noir-neko-ascii-fine (192×208 sprites).
  • Status bar (advanced) — custom TelemetryTape HUD as an LF patch vs NousResearch/hermes-agent@8301654, with whole-file fallbacks.
  • Caduceus extras (advanced, optional) — caduceus loader, backdrop, hero wordmark.

Install

git clone https://github.com/Elevatormusic/hermes-classic-gold-pack
cd hermes-classic-gold-pack
node install.mjs --activate noir-neko-ascii-fine

Then paste theme/install-theme.js into Hermes' DevTools console. Advanced tiers: see advanced/README.md.

Hands-off AI install

Paste ai/install.md into an agentic assistant (Claude Code / Cursor / Codex CLI). On any failure it self-diagnoses from build output + Hermes logs (diagnostics.mjs --logs), fixes and rebuilds in a loop, and only asks you — once, with a precise screenshot request — as a last resort.

Notes

  • Core installer verified on Windows; macOS/Linux paths are best-effort.
  • An app update reverts the advanced tier — re-run the apply scripts.
