Minecraft Survival now plays inside the shared Mindustry world, with resource gathering, crafting, building interactions and shared combat. The development build was tested for approximately one hour across Serpulo and Erekir; the final English release and new Erekir recipes received separate automated validation.

Highlights

  • Serpulo and Erekir world reconstruction, with the core area playable first.
  • Bounded map streaming, asynchronous saves and old-map cleanup.
  • All 245 survival-buildable structures from Mindustry 160.4 represented and craftable through the MSE Workshop.
  • Core/building resource withdrawal and deposit, supported filters and links.
  • Shared player/unit health, melee and bow combat, with Minecraft armor reduction.
  • Directional stair conveyors and full-volume recovery of buildings and 26 natural wall types.
  • English MSE menus, labels, messages and installation/gameplay guides. Older saved resource tags remain compatible.
  • Erekir recipes: 4 beryllium → 4 oak planks and 4 graphite → 1 iron ingot, in the crafting grid and core workshop. Graphite can be gathered with a wooden pickaxe.

Installation

Download the Minecraft JAR, Mindustry ZIP and Relay ZIP below and use all three v1.3.0 components together.

Installation tutorial · Survival guide · Full release notes

Tested with Minecraft Java 1.20.1/Purpur, Mindustry 160.4 and Node.js 24.19.0. The plugin needs Java 17 or newer. Default bridges use a local Relay on port 8080.

The primary Purpur world must be 100% empty and dedicated to MSE. Back up saves and plugin/Relay data, then stop the games and Relay before upgrading. Keep only one active MSE plugin/mod version.

Campaign / story mode is partially compatible on both planets. Mindustry retains objectives, research and progression; specialized logic, factory and payload controls are not fully reproduced in Minecraft. MSE remains experimental. Transfer journals handle normal retries, but cannot make independent game saves atomic after an operating-system crash.
