First release of whagent — a Python library for the WhatsApp Agent Platform API.

pip install whagent

• Client: one method per endpoint — sending every message type, long-poll updates, read receipts and the typing indicator, media upload/download/delete
• Agent: handler decorators, a run loop with offset persistence, automatic read receipts and typing
• Recipient is optional on every send
• Typed models, local validation against the platform's caps, retries with backoff, client-side rate limiting
