Speedrun — Final (MCAT)
Speedrun — MCAT study app on Anki's engine. Final build. Commit f69e891e7.
What's in it
- Topic-aware interleaving scheduler (uniform + weakness-weighted) — the core Rust change.
- Three honest scores — Memory / Performance / Readiness, each a range with a give-up rule, Readiness on 472–528.
- AI, safe by construction — source-grounded card generation + a CARS module (passage + multiple-choice reasoning), each gated by a held-out eval vs a pre-registered cutoff (FN=0), beating a keyword baseline; leakage-checked.
- Free-text grading — type an answer, an LLM grades it by meaning and suggests the grade; degrades cleanly with AI off.
- Two-way sync desktop ↔ Android via Anki's own sync.
- Every claim is re-runnable — see
docs/speedrun/VERIFY.md.

Speedrun — Friday (AI + two-way sync)
Speedrun — Friday build (AI added & checked; phone syncs). Desktop + Android MCAT study app forked from Anki / AnkiDroid (AGPL-3.0-or-later; all engine credit to the Anki and AnkiDroid projects). Exam: MCAT.
What's in this build
- AI, safe by construction — cards generated from named sources, gated by a pre-registered eval (beats a keyword baseline; no wrong card ships), plus free-text grading (type → LLM grades by meaning → hint → reveal). Works with AI switched off.
- Three honest scores — Memory / Performance / Readiness, each a range with a give-up rule, on the 472–528 scale — on both desktop and phone.
- Two-way sync desktop ↔ phone (Anki's own sync; no lost or double-counted reviews).
- Reorganized UI on both platforms (desktop nav rail; Android bottom nav + Progress tab + decks-as-cards).

Speedrun — MCAT MVP
Speedrun — MCAT MVP (Wednesday no-AI core)
Speedrun is a desktop + Android MCAT study app forked from Anki (AGPL-3.0-or-later; all engine credit to the Anki project). This is the no-AI core: everything runs locally — no network, no LLM.
What's inside
- Topic-aware interleaving scheduler (the core Rust change) — mixes the three MCAT science sections like the exam does. Pure queue reordering: never mutates due dates, intervals, or FSRS state.
- Weakness-weighted interleaving — optionally surfaces measured-weak topics (lower FSRS recall) more often.
- Honest memory score — per-topic FSRS predicted recall with an uncertainty band and a give-up rule ("Not enough data yet") instead of a fake number.
- Shared engine, two platforms — the same Rust engine backs the desktop app and the Android (AnkiDroid) build; the interleave toggle is collection-level config read by both.
Install
- Desktop (Windows):
anki-26.05-win-x64.msi - Android:
