Superseded: This package can enter a 100-iteration CMake/Ninja regeneration loop on first setup because of future-dated ZIP entries. Download v1.2.1-ell.2 instead.
Experimental Windows x86-64 release from the Ell fork.
What is included:
- Ring Out runtime and DolRecomp cross-compiled with MinGW-w64 on Ubuntu 24.04
- Portable first-run launcher and setup
- Checksum-pinned Windows-native LLVM, CMake, Ninja, and Python toolchain
- Full Dolphin
Sysresources plus matching source, licenses, and provenance - No game data
Validation performed:
- Clean Ubuntu 24.04 / GCC 13 / mingw-w64 11 build and packaging
- PE import-closure, manifest, privacy, and no-game-data checks
- Wine loader/help smokes for the runtime, recompiler, and bundled tools
- Native test suite: 36/36 passed, including the netplay protocol tests
This build has not yet been gameplay-tested on physical Windows hardware, so it is published as a prerelease.
The MinGW build provides Vulkan/OpenGL rendering, Cubeb/OpenAL audio, and SDL input. Microsoft-SDK-only Direct3D, WASAPI, native Windows controller backends, native Bluetooth Wii Remote transport, and QWave/DSCP traffic marking are omitted. Netplay itself remains available.
