Glance 2026.08.06 expands image preview controls and improves preview-process reliability.

Highlights

  • Rotate images counterclockwise with right-click, flip them horizontally or vertically, and use fine-grained right-click zoom controls.
  • Use the optional zoom map to inspect the current viewport and click or drag directly to another area of an enlarged image.
  • Reset image zoom, rotation, and flip state automatically when switching or reopening files.
  • Right-click the footer's copy-path button to copy the current file for pasting in File Explorer.
  • Recover faster from stalled companion processes and stop unresponsive PDF rendering transactions without leaving blocked hosts or leaked handles.

  • Glance-Setup-2026.08.06-x64.exe: Recommended installer containing the core application and selectable optional components. All components are selected by default.
  • Glance-2026.08.06-x64.zip: Portable core application without optional components.
  • Glance-Component-<Name>-2026.08.06-x64.zip: Standalone optional component. Use only the package from the same Glance release, extract it into the application's components directory, and restart Glance.
  • Glance-2026.08.06-x64-symbols.zip: Debug symbols for diagnostics and crash analysis.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt: SHA-256 checksums for every release asset.
