v1.0.17
v1.0.17 - Version Synchronization Pipeline
What's Fixed
Version Drift Prevention
Previously, version numbers could get out of sync between package.json and src/index.js. This release adds automated synchronization:
- Version Sync Script:
scripts/version-sync.jsensures all version references match - npm Lifecycle Hooks: Automatic sync during
npm versioncommands - CI/CD Validation: Both workflows now validate version consistency before publishing
- Tag Validation: Ensures git tag matches package.json version
How It Works
# Manually sync versions
npm run version:sync
# Check if versions are in sync (CI/CD uses this)
npm run version:check
# Standard npm version (now auto-syncs)
npm version patchFiles Kept in Sync
