PDR Generator 1.2.1

A small fix release on top of v1.2.0.

Fixed

• TBD/TBR context no longer bleeds across table cells. When an open item lives in a spreadsheet or slide table, its context on decision cards and value-of-information panels used to be cut from a flattened text window, so it could run past the cell boundary and show pipe-delimited fragments of unrelated requirements. The context is now the containing cell itself, led by the row's identifier — e.g. SYS-0102 — The spacecraft shall maintain a dry mass margin of at least 15% … (TBD-07 launch vehicle selection) — so every TBD card reads as the single requirement that carries it.

Existing projects pick the fix up on the next import or re-extraction. If you are updating from 1.1.5, see the v1.2.0 notes for everything else that changed.

PDR Generator 1.2.0

Improved

- Interface ends read from row labels. Interface registers without From/To columns now have both sides read from the row label itself ("Structures to Thermal radiator bracket" → Structures ↔ Thermal). Only names matching your own subsystem vocabulary are accepted — nothing is guessed. This makes change-propagation analysis work on registers that state their ends in the interface name.

Fixed
- TBD/TBR findings no longer contradict themselves. Numbered items (tracked to closure) and unnumbered "TBD" text are now reported separately — unnumbered text gets its own finding stating why it can't be tracked and how to fix it, instead of a message like "5 requirements contain TBD/TBR values (0 distinct tracked items)".
- Duplicate COTS-electronics findings collapsed. A maker-grade board appearing on eleven pages is now one finding citing every location, not eleven near-identical findings burying the rest of the report.

• Interface register extraction: interface/ICD tables with From/To columns, named interface artifacts ("Docking Interface (ICD)", "Mechanical Interface Requirements Document"), and prose statements naming both sides are now read from the package, with ICD references captured.
• Provenance marking: every interface in the generated register shows its source — read from your document vs. inferred from a generic aerospace pattern — and inferred entries are explicitly flagged as prompts to confirm or delete.
• Change propagation now couples on stated interface endpoints, fixing a defect where coupling edges could be derived from generated boilerplate text rather than your design.
• New readiness check: interfaces that don't identify both ends are reported as a PDR gap (per NPR 7123.1D) instead of passing silently.
• AI citation grounding: in the AI analysis workflow, findings citing requirement/risk IDs that don't exist in your package have those citations removed and visibly flagged — AI output can no longer present fabricated traceability as evidence.
• Formatting guide: new Interface register section documenting how to get the most out of interface extraction.

This fixes two import bugs that could silently produce an empty project.

Fixed

• Excel import failed entirely. Importing any .xlsx/.xls/.csv threw an internal error ("XLSX. read File is not a function"), despite Excel being a supported format. Spreadsheet import now works.

• Risk registers with prefixed IDs extracted nothing. Only bare-numeric risk IDs (059, 24-001) were recognized, so registers using R-01, RISK-14 or TR-003 — the more common convention — silently produced zero risks, which also left the Decisions tab empty.

• Many requirement ID schemes were not recognized. Requirements are now found across the conventions programs actually use: SYS-0101, PL-1, ADC-3, PHX-3.01, REQ-001, REQ-COMMS-01, SS_COMM_01, MAI-400, AGSYS-01. Standards references (MIL-STD-1553, ISO-9001, NPR-7123, TRL-9) are deliberately excluded so they never appear as requirements.

• PDF requirement tables yielded only one requirement. PDF import flattens a table onto a single line; the extractor took only the first identifier and its text absorbed everything after it. Every identifier on a line is now read, and each requirement's text ends where the next one begins.

• One unreadable file discarded the whole import. Files are now imported independently and failures are reported per file, so a single bad format no longer loses the rest of the package.

Added

• Import guidance in the app. A "Get the best extraction" panel under the drop zone covers file formats, requirement ID conventions, risk-register layout, and how to state allocations and margins. Collapsed by default.

• Formatting Guide and FAQ published alongside this release.

PDR Generator 1.1.5 — risk-informed decision layer.

• New "Decisions" tab: allocation breach probability, ranking of which risks actually move the outcome, mitigation buy-down per dollar, and a Value-of-Information view of open TBD/TBR items.
• Allocations are extracted from budget slides as well as requirements, and percentage margin requirements ("maintain 30% dry mass margin") are honored as the governing limit.
• New "Decisions Required Before PDR" section in the generated document, with thresholds cited to the requirement or standard that sets them.
• Joint Cost & Schedule Confidence Level (JCL) with S-curves, per NPR 7120.5.
• Margin status and depletion trending against ANSI/AIAA S-120A.
