What's new
- Rendering rework (vanilla order) - a deferred pass now shades and fogs the opaque world before translucents draw; water, glass, portal and particles fog themselves at their own distance, and the light-shaft glow settles over everything at the end
- Watertight fog wall - the wall reliably swallows the render-distance edge on land, over water, from the air, and with god rays enabled; anything past 97% fog snaps to pure fog color, so nothing can silhouette against the sky
- Honest stained glass - vanilla opacity, blocks and textures behind it stay recognizable, and the fog behind glass is exactly the fog beside it
- Nether portal - saturated purple that survives the analog grading, yet slightly see-through like vanilla
- Whole-dome sky fade - the sky blends from the horizon fog bank across the entire dome, so no line at world-rim height reads as a chunk edge
- Player shadow fade removed - your shadow now behaves like every other shadow
Bug fixes
- Pack failed to load on Oculus (stray byte-order mark in two shader files)
- Shadow stripe patterns on slopes at dawn and dusk eliminated
- The arm no longer darkens depending on view direction
- Enchantment glint and glowing eyes dim inside fog instead of glowing through it
- Rain, smoke particles and translucent mobs fog consistently in front of water and glass
- "Invalid pack option: SNAP_ENTITIES" resolved - the option is back in the menu
Requirements
Iris (Fabric/Quilt/NeoForge) or Oculus (Forge), Minecraft 1.16.5 – 26.x. No OptiFine needed.
