v0.8.2
v0.8.2 — capture-aware close approaches, backward-arc fix, citable releases
Fixes
- Captured objects no longer report a close approach — and a meaningless
linear impact probability — at every perigee of their bound orbit
(minimoons such as 2020 CD3). Perigees now nest inside the capture
event; close-approach records cover genuine flybys only. - Backward propagation arcs from an epoch inside a close encounter
(e.g. an impactor fit hours before entry, 2008 TC3) are frame-
consistent — pre-epoch arcs are no longer displaced by ~1 au. - Impact ground tracks report the impact's own surface coordinates
instead of the sub-surface minimum of a straight-line extrapolation. - Opted-in stop conditions truncate output at the trigger epoch in both
time directions. - The ephemeris-vs-reference validation gate compares in consistent
units again and is back in the release gate.
