Initial public release of JevClient, an unofficial, dependency-free Swift SDK for TypeSafe AI's System One API.

Install

Add the repository in Xcode with a version rule starting at 0.1.0, or use Swift Package Manager:

.package(url: "https://github.com/Enapiuz/jev-client-swift.git", from: "0.1.0")

Add .product(name: "JevClient", package: "jev-client-swift") to your target and import JevClient.

Included

  • Typed Choice, Score and Noul questions and answers, mixed batches, structured JSON state, and enum-based Choice helpers.
  • Model discovery, named Jev 1.13/1.14 versions, moving aliases, resolved-model and optional usage metadata.
  • Configurable authentication, transport, retries, timeouts, cancellation, redacted lifecycle observations, and standard/strict response validation.
  • Experimental PNG/JPEG assets in state, instructions or criteria; multipart uploads by default and optional base64 JSON.
  • Experimental Box questions/answers on Jev 1.14, plus an independent long-context opt-in.

Requirements and experimental behavior

Requires Swift 6.4 in Swift 6 language mode. Declared minimums are macOS 12 and iOS 15; Linux uses FoundationNetworking. The package has no third-party dependencies or UI framework imports.

Experimental capabilities are off by default. Enable them explicitly through JevExperimentalFeatures on configuration or per-call options. Box needs image assets and Jev 1.14; pin .jev1_14_0 deliberately. A Box is always returned even when the target is absent, so use a Noul presence question when absence matters. Image preparation and final service-side image limits remain the caller's responsibility.

The SDK version is independent of Jev's model version. This is an initial 0.x API, which may evolve. Service experimental formats, limits and accuracy may also change.

Verification

The release's SDK source passed 41 tests on macOS and Linux, release builds on both, a generic iOS compile check, a DocC build and README/DocC example typechecks. This release's preparation changes README wording only; source/test hashes match the verified SDK revision. Hosted CI for that SDK revision also passed: workflow run.

Tests use captured requests and local HTTP fixtures. Authenticated live API behavior, model accuracy and runtime behavior on the declared minimum OS versions were not verified.
