What's new

Paws Off now tells you when it has updated itself. Quietly, and only once.

• A small "Updated to…" note appears under the menu bar paw (Mac) or by the tray icon (Windows)
  after an update, with a link to what's new. If you're reading this, it probably worked. Hi. 👋

Installing

Mac: open the DMG and drag Paws Off into Applications. The first time you open it, macOS blocks it because it isn't notarized yet: click Done, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Then click Grant Access in Paws Off and switch it on under Accessibility.

Windows: run the installer. If SmartScreen says Windows protected your PC, click More info → Run anyway (the app isn't code-signed yet). No admin rights needed; uninstall any time from Settings → Apps.
