FrameForge v1.3

FrameForge is a professional video optimization tool that transforms standard gameplay clips into ultra-smooth, high-FPS highlights. It features a custom Gaussian blending engine to create the "velvet" motion trails seen in high-end competitive montages.

🆕 What's New in v1.3

  • Gaussian Resampling Engine: A high-fidelity blending mode that uses a bell-curve distribution for softer, more natural motion trails.
  • Dynamic Gaussian Spread: A new slider to control the "feathering" of the blur edges.
  • Universal Hardware Support: Refined encoder logic to ensure compatibility across everything from high-end RTX cards to entry-level laptops.
  • Auto-Path Discovery: Improved logic to find ffmpeg.exe automatically within the application bundle.

⚙️ Hardware Compatibility & Settings

To ensure the best performance, choose the encoder that matches your computer's hardware:

Hardware Type Recommended Encoder Notes
NVIDIA RTX / GTX 16-series+ NVIDIA RTX Uses the latest NVENC p4-p7 presets for max quality.
Older NVIDIA (GTX 600 - 10-series) NVIDIA Legacy Uses standard NVENC. Best for cards like the GTX 1050 or 960.
Laptops with Intel Graphics Intel QSV Uses the built-in Intel QuickSync hardware.
Entry-Level Laptops (MX330, etc.) CPU (x264) Required. Most MX-series GPUs do not have a video encoder chip.
Legacy Desktop (GTX 550 Ti, etc.) CPU (x264) Recommended. Older hardware may lack modern driver support for NVENC.

✨ Key Features

  • Zero Installation: Portable standalone executable.
  • Universal Compatibility: Dedicated profiles for NVIDIA RTX, Legacy GTX, Intel QSV, and Universal CPU.
  • 360 FPS Output: Interpolation support for ultra-high refresh rate displays.
  • Live Preview: Real-time visual feedback of blur intensity and spread.
  • Glass-Dark UI: Modern, distraction-free interface designed for Windows 10/11.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Download: Grab FrameForge_v1.3.exe from the Releases page or click Here to download.
  2. Import: Drag and drop your video into the preview area.
  3. Select Mode: Choose Gaussian for the smoothest edges.
  4. Adjust Spread: Use the Gaussian Spread slider to control how soft the blur trails look.
  5. Choose Encoder: Refer to the hardware table above to select the correct encoder for your PC.
  6. Render: Choose your FPS and hardware encoder, hit Render Clip, and watch the live ETA..

💻 System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
  • GPU: NVIDIA Graphics Card (Recommended for hardware acceleration).
  • Driver: Latest Game Ready or Studio drivers for optimal NVENC performance.

⚠️ Note on Windows Defender

Because this is an unsigned standalone .exe, Windows may show a "Windows protected your PC" popup.
