What's Changed

This release improves the original YT-Blocker payload with better metadata handling, more reliable operation checks, and broader YouTube title ID support.

Improvements

  • Expanded title ID support: Added support for PPSA01652, alongside PPSA01650 and PPSA01651.
  • Improved operation checks: Checks database modification results and reports incomplete operations instead of always displaying a success notification.
  • More robust metadata handling: Improved handling of YouTube's param.json metadata, including both versionFileUri and versionFileURI key variants.
  • Database verification: Added checks to help confirm whether the intended metadata changes were applied.
  • Updated project workflow: Improved the project configuration for building and packaging the payload.

Important Notes

  • Compatibility may vary depending on PS5 firmware, YouTube version, and payload environment.
  • A success notification does not guarantee that YouTube updates are fully blocked.
  • Back up the original database and metadata files before using the payload.
