Build from source for Linux
Windows builds are produced by GitHub Actions and uploaded as a downloadable artifact.
- Download the
nipovpn-windows-x64artifact from the latest workflow run. - Extract the ZIP.
- Run:
./nipovpn.exe server ./config.yamlThe Windows artifact uses a Windows-friendly config file (relative paths) based on nipovpn/etc/nipovpn/config.windows.yaml.
Create the log directory and log file
[~/nipovpn]>$ sudo mkdir /var/log/nipovpn/
[~/nipovpn]>$ sudo touch /var/log/nipovpn/nipovpn.log Run it
sudo build/core/nipovpn server nipovpn/etc/nipovpn/config.yamlCurrently it is only available for debian-based Linuxes and fully tested on ubuntu 24.04 You can simply download and install the package. To download it please visit the releases page and get the latest release.

nipovpn-server.service to manage as server.
nipovpn-agent.service to manage as agent.
