This release addresses an issue where libpaf build system would depend on the linker using --as-needed parameter by default to eliminate unused library dependencies.

On systems which do not use pass --as-needed to the C compiler's linker by default, the libpaf.so library would be needlessly linked to libreadline. The Red Hat family of Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL) triggered this issue, while the Debian family (e.g., Ubuntu) did not.
