Mixtape for Linux — AppImage (preview)

Single-file AppImage — download, make it executable, run. No more extracting a tarball, and VLC is bundled in, so audio works on a Steam Deck / immutable-root system with nothing to install.

Run

chmod +x Mixtape-x86_64.AppImage
./Mixtape-x86_64.AppImage

Steam Deck: use Desktop Mode. If it doesn't launch, your system may be missing FUSE2 — run it this way instead:

./Mixtape-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run

Notes

• Preview — back up your iPod and test one song before trusting add/delete on a real device.
• The older .tar.gz Linux build is still available in the earlier "Linux preview" releases as a fallback.
